JrockSuomi is a Finnish association, founded in 2004 and focused on promoting Japanese music in Finland. Our main course of action is organizing various events, mainly concerts and tours for Japanese bands and artists in Finland and Europe. We've worked with various bands and artists in the past, such as LM.C, Plastic Tree and DJ SiSeN. Please take a look at our past schedule for more information.
JrockSuomi is a pioneer on it's field in Europe and the only organizer in Finland devoted entirely to Japanese music. During the past five years, JrockSuomi has developed into an acknowledged expert on it's field with vast knowledge of the practical as well as business side of event organization and promotion and Japanese culture in general. We're working relentlessly to bring the Finnish fans the best bands and events. We collaborate with numerous Finnish, European and Japanese organizations. We also share our expertise with anyone who needs detailed, up-to-date information about Japanese music and it's listeners in Finland and Europe.
Our main yearly event is Tsukicon, the first and only convention in Northern Europe dedicated to Japanese music and street fashion. Last year, Tsukicon was organized for the third time and it attracted nearly 4500 people during one weekend. This year we expect an even larger number of convention-goers to Tsukicon'09.
